It sounds like you might have
urethritis which is inflammation of the urethra (tube that drains urine from the bladder out of the penis). Urethritis is the most common manifestation of a sexual transmitted disease. The most common symptoms are painful urination, itching, and discharge. Most symptoms start about 2 to 10 days after exposure.
I would recommend:
-using condoms consistently, abstinence, or decreasing your amount of sexual partners
-unfortunately, you need to be seen by a doctor and screen for STDs such as
gonorrhea and chlamydia infections
-you should also be screened for HIV, RPR,
Hepatitis C, and
Hepatitis B as these are all sexually transmitted diseases
-sexually transmitted diseases can affect your heart, brain, prostate, testicles, and joints; therefore, treatment is important and necessary.
Fortunately, treatment is usually one
intramuscular injection, as well as one pill. You should not have any sexual activity for seven days after treatment. In addition, anyone that you had sexual activity with in the past 60 days should be evaluated and treated for similar infections. You should be reevaluated in three months after treatment also.
