General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion post sigmoidoscopy, history of fever itself is a reason to consult your surgeon. I hope you are taking your medications on time.

It would be advisable to immediately consult your doctor.

Mild discomfort and pain are expected. However, if symptoms are severe you definitely need to visit your doctor at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Riyanka Chail, General & Family Physician
