General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry to hear you had an abortion.

Bleeding continues 1 to 3 weeks after abortion. It's the same bleeding you have after delivery.

Stomach ache is due to uterine contractions. Take diclophenac or mephenamic to ease the pain.

If bleeding will be more heavily or stomach pain would become unbearable, please see your gynecologist to rule out any possible complication (infection, etc.).

Wish fast recovery.
