What Causes Stomach Ache Followed By Vomiting And Dizziness?

Hi, I have had stomach pains for a while, then I ended up throwing up (watery, pink, smelly). I have thrown up twice, and feel extremely tired and lightheaded. My throat has a burning sensation from the throwing up. What can I do? Should I see a doctor and go A&E?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Stomach pain followed by vomiting & dizziness is commonly a symptom of food intolerance /food allergy, malabsorption, Liver problems, migraine, acid reflux, ulcer, etc.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get CBC, Urinalysis, liver function tests done. If needed you will have to get imaging tests done.

Take anti emetics to stop vomiting, you can take antacids or PPI's for relieve. Avoid taking alcohol, cut on smoking & addictions if any.

Stay away from junk food, oily & spicy food. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
