What Causes Stomach Bloating While Taking Cyproheptadine?

I have been taking cyproheptadine 4mg for about 2 weeks and i have gained at least 12 pounds around my stomach area I look pregnant i have been asked that on 2 different ocassian is that weight gain normal for the stomach area while taking these pills

I really appreciate your concern, this is not the normal weight gain and this is due to the "Cyproheptadine" and this is not good medicine if this is being taken for weight gain only and better to stop this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
