What Causes Stomach Bug And Blood Clot In Vomit During Pregnancy?

My daughter is 7 months pregnant. I thought she had a little stomach bug that has been going around because she has a slight fever and is very tired. She just threw up bile with a blood clot in it. We are waiting for the doctor to call back. Can you tell me what this could be caused by?

Hello dear,,I understand your concern.In my opinion there might be gastrointestinal infection due to which there are vomitings.Sometimes due to forceful vomitings the throat might get injured leading to blood in vomitings.Dont worry.It will subside.Consult doctor as you might need symptomatic treatment and antibiotics.Take adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres and electrol powder.Avoid spicy and oily diet.
