I have all the symptoms of being pregnant, I ve had unprotected sex and I ve had nausea for the past week and frequent urination, cramps but no blood, sensitivity to smells, white discharge, & kinda heavy feeling in my stomach. today, I ve had some cramps, & a little brownish blood but not heavy like I usually have on my period. I never have regular periods.. but I ve had all the symptoms of being pregnant and I just wonder if the brownish blood is normal? what should i do?
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Since you have irregular menstrual periods, it is difficult to predict ovulation. Moreover, brownish discharge is suggestive of old bleeding possibly due to a breakthrough. You should also exclude infections. You need urinalysis, blood counts and a proper clinical evaluation. A sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, helps to know the status of the pelvic organs. Your symptoms are not specific to pregnancy. Please see a specialist for further management. Hope this helps.
