What Causes Stomach Cramps And Food Cravings While Being On 'cerazette'?

Hi, I've been taking cerazette for 2 and a half months now, I'm a bit slack on taking it at regular times, but the week before I had unprotected sex I had taken it every single day. I haven't had a period whilst I have been on it, but recently I have had these weird pains in my lower abdominal muscles (not like period pains, all the way across) spasm's in my stomach muscles and started craving certain foods. This has been going on for a week and a half (along with occasional lower back pain) and it's been about a month and a half- 2 months since there was a chance I could have gotten pregnant. I go out clubbing and binge drink and am a heavy smoker but hadn't been sick because of it, does this affect the pill and is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Hello,

Cerazette is very effective pill if taken regularly and in proper time but if you have missed few doses or have vomited, had diarrhea or taken other medicines along with it, you may be under the risk of getting pregnant if you had unprotected intercourse. Presently you are experiencing stomach cramps, food cravings, lower back pain, etc. It could be symptoms of pregnancy.

You are suggested to get urine and blood test done to confirm pregnancy, get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get per vaginal examination done. She may recommend to get few blood tests, urinalysis and USG (Uterus) done if required. You will be managed and treated accordingly.
