What Causes Stomach Cramps And Nausea In Elderly Children?
my 14 year old son was ill yesterday with stomach cramps and nausea. today he has persistent pain in in lower right quadrant. the vomiting has subsided but he cannot stand up straight and it hurts him to change positions. the rebound test is negative but the pain is considerable with pressure (only on the right side). thoughts?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is suspected case of appendicitis then rebound test is not the only criteria as long as diagnosis is concern but other clinical test need to be consider first and blood test and imaging study is must, till then pain can be managed with symptomatic medicines, but better to see the doctor or ER hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
