What Causes Stomach Discomfort Along With Rashes All Over The Body?

18 yr old grandson has complained off and on for several weeks of stomach discomfort, last night suddenly developed rash over entire body, including small bumps on hands and fingers. Has back pain, stomach pain, itching and painful rash. Dr today did strep test, instant one is neg. sent culture out. He had great arterial switch performed when he was few days old, but no other heart issues other than murmur, since then.

Hello,

Acute streptococcus infection or viral infection can lead rash over body. So if culture for streptococcus positive then antibiotic course prescribed for rash Levocetirizine like anti-allergic drug can be prescribed. Your CBC investigation also needs to be done.

For stomach pain, if needed Rabeprazole like antacid can be prescribed. Consult the physician for examination and get prescription accordingly. Provide your reports as attachment for giving more comment.
