What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Dark Urination Despite Taking Pepto?

I have dealing with stomach discomfort on and off for about a week now. I d say the pain is in the at the top of my stomach in the middle of my body. I feel bloated or full despite hardly eating. I also have a darker urine than normal. I d say a dark yellow pretty constantly all week ( not as dark after drinking a bottle of water but still darker than normal). Initially I took some Pepto for the first two days when I thought it was just a case of eating too much and the last 4 days I have taken Prolisac and neither has really made a difference. The discomfort is not constant but enough for me to think something is wrong. I rarely have been sick previously.

Hi,

Noted your history about discomfort in the upper abdomen for a week now, bloating, dark urine in spite of taking lots of water, Peto and Prilosec not helping at all.
The most possible causes I can think about ae as follows:
GERD and gastritis.
Hepatitis.
Pancreatitis.
Urinary tract infection.
This can be diagnosed by the following ways:
Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations:
Tests of blood for CBC, liver, pancreas and kidney functions.
Tests of stool for 3 days.
Test of urine.
Ultrasonography to start with.
CT scan of abdomen if needed.
Upper GI Endoscopy.
All these will give a specific diagnosis and a chance for proper management as per the cause found.
