What Causes Stomach Discomfort?
Why does my stomach constantly gurgle when I lay down even after I have eaten and I m not hungry? The reason that I am noticing this so much lately, is because I had back surgery on February 22 and have been on a lot of bed rest. I do have acid reflux and am on medication for it. Could this be related or is it something different?

Hi,
Your symptoms suggestive of gastritis or small ulcer over stomach like condition. Acid reflux also could be related to that.
For that, I suggest you take the antacid tablet course. Avoid excess spicy foods intake. Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach. Elevate your head while sleeping.
If you have any other complaint apart from abdominal pain than mention it.
