What Causes Stomach Pain After Taking Tramadol And Robaxin?

I was prescribed tramadol and robaxin last week for a re-aggravation of some back issues I had..after taking the combination of the two for several days I developed intense stomach pain.. not nausea just pain..even tender to the touch..it was like a reaction I have to aspirin or naproxen. So they switched me to Norco 5/325 with the robaxin as I ve never had stomach issues with norco. It has not gotten worse..but the pain is still very tender to the touch. Any ideas? I m on a regimen of prilosec every morning and just started taking zantac at night to see if it would help. I m on other rx s for bipolar and anxiety as well.

Hello I just read your query and from what you have mentioned it appears that you have Gastritis that is peptic ulcer disease which gets worse on taking the said medications.
You must take gastroprotective agents like omeprazole 20 mg twice a day for same for 2weeks or more.
