What Causes Stomach Pain Along With Bloating And Loss Of Appetite?

Hi. I started developing pain in my stomach on Saturday evening at the belly button and on down. lt seems as though it is in a square. I feel bloated and not hungry. Whenever I eat it makes it somewhat worse. I have never had this pain before. l laid around all day yesterday thinking it would go away but it hasn t. It was somewhat better this morning but now is intermittent. I have taken stool softeners thinking that would help. I guess I don t know what to do other than to go to my M.D. and I really am trying to avoid that. I m looking for suggestions.
