What Causes Stomach Pain And Fever Post Intake Of Azithromycin?
I just got an antibiotic prescribed for me for acne treatment. It s a 5 day course (Azithromycin). However, due to probably drinking contaminated water, I have stomach pains and am feeling slightly feverish, which may be an infection. Should I still do the 5 day course for the acne? My main concern is that the course will take care of the acne but not the infection, and I ll get a relapse. I have been instructed to start the course tomorrow morning.
Hi dear thanks for writing to HCM!! Be relax do not worry your antibiotic Azithromycin will take care of both but i advise you to take tab pantoprazole along with it to prevent abdominal discomfort. If you develop severe abdominal pain take tab dicyclopam once a day, also take lukewarm water to drink and avoid junk food. Hope this will help you thanks and regards Dr.Sohil Takodara
