General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Black stools in my daily practice are often related to a hemorrhage in the upper intestinal tract. So, I recommend to consult your general physician for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
