What Causes Stomach Pain And Nausea Post Intake Of Plan-B?

My boyfriend and I had sex Wednesday and he said he came in me we also had unprotected sex Saturday morning I took plan b Saturday night and after taking pill 10 MINTUES later my stomach started to hurt felt like I was going to throw up but I didn t should I be worried

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Stomach pain nausea is the side effect of the plan B pill as it contai high progesterone level.
It relax the smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract causes pain and nausea.
It is not 100 % protective against the pregnancy and period can also be delayed by the 8-10 days after taking the plan B pill as it cause prolongation of the second phase of the cycle.
If period will delay by the 12-14 days then go for pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy.
Avoid stress, do regular exercise and take healthy diet.
