What Causes Stomach Pain, Chronic Constipation And Nosebleeds Of A Child?

I have a 7 year old daughter who regularly complains of stomach pain. It seems to be maybe, related to her digestion as it seems to be worse after she eats. She also struggles with constipation and regularly has accidents, such as smears of stool in her underwear. It seems as though she can't help herself. and in the past 3 months or so, she has been having some nosebleeds and complaining a lot about her stomach and being tired.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have symptoms of stomach pain, chronic constipation and nosebleeds which can occur due to many reasons and it is extremely important to find out the exact cause. Need not to worry. Avoid intake of outside and hot and spicy foods. Take diet rich in probiotics. I would advise you to consult pediatrician once and get complete examination done like complete blood count, stool examination, ultrasound scan of abdomen, colonoscopy & contrast studies. You should start treatment after complete examination. Doctor may prescribe you traditional drugs like lactulose, milk of magnesia and cremaffin or bisacodyl tablets. Drink one spoon of honey in warm water daily.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
