What Causes Stomach Pain, Joint Aches, Headaches And Tingling In Toes?

My son is 23 years old, 5 9 tall and weighs 340 lbs - he has been complaining of stomach pains for months now. He had tests run on his gallbladder that came back negative. On top of the stomach pains which he describes as feeling like being punched, he complains his joints ache, he is experiencing more headaches than normal, and he has tingling in his toes. He seems more fatigued than normal also. He is hesitant to go into the doctor for fear they ll just run more tests and come up with nothing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your son, 23 yrs is suffering from stomach pain, joint aches, headaches and tingling in the toes. His gallstone test is negative. The most common cause of stomach pain is acid reflux, indigestion, liver dysfunction that may lead to headache. He should take home made boiled food for a month or two. He should take boiled water after cooling.

He should avoid taking oily, spicy food, processed and packaged food. He should take well cooked lean meat, whole grains, fruits and veggies. He should avoid taking anything raw. Keep away from addictions like smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc. He should take quality sleep and avoid stressful work or exhausting exercises.

Taking PPIs will be helpful. Taking liver tonics will help relieve stomach problems. He should not skip meals and take water and fluids adequately. However, he should get clinically examined by a GP, get blood and required imaging tests done to detect RA, OA, fibromyalgia, or any other auto immune disease. He will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
