What Causes Stomach Pain On Left Side And Constipation Inspite Of Taking Miralax?

Since Sunday I have had severe stomach pain, left side about a hands width from belly button. I havent been able to pass gas as much as normal. I just started drinking myalax, and started stool softeners. It even wakes me at night. I have problems with constipation due to prescription pain medication. And am on other medications. Is there anything else I can do?
