What Causes Stomach Pain While Having Henoch Schonlein Purpura?

my 2.5 yr old grandson was diagnosed with Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP), they sent him home from the ER yesterday advising it would have to run its course but if he developed stomach pains to bring hime back to the ER... what causes the stomach pain and why is it a concern?

As per my clinical experience, the Henoch Schonlein purpura is a clinical condition caused by auto immune phenomenon involving small and medium size arterioles. It is the vasculitis of mesenteric blood vessels, which pause stomach ache and other GI sequences.
