What Causes Stomach Pains On Left Side When Pregnant With Twins?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My daughter is 9 weeks pregant w/twins and is having left side stomach pains. She says it feels like she s been punched in the stomach every time she eats something?

Hi.

There are a number of different experiences pregnant women undergo. As for those who are expecting twins, the experience can be a lot more different and enhanced.

In such a scenario I would recommend an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound investigation to check if all is well in yiur abdmonal region. If nothing is found then the cause could most probably be some amount of pressure being applied on your GIT (gastrointestinal tract) by your growing uterus.
