What Causes Stomach Upest Along With Costipation And Diarrhea?

Hi doctor,since last month i started having upset stomach,sometimes constipation and after that loose stools 3 4 times a day.and also excessive burping and feeling of food getting back into my mouth.i consulted a physician and he diagnosed me with typhoid and gave me antibiotics injections. After that my gas problems got worse. I again chaned my dr and he again gave me the MONTAZ injections for 5 days.but that gave no benefits to my stomach problems.my dr said that my stomach problems may be related to my brain.and i am also not able to sleep soundly at night.i also sometimes feel anxiety and pounding in my heart.but i again changed my dr to homeopathy.he gave me medicines for my stomach.but from last day,i am feeling palpitations in heart and also anxiousness.o ne thing to say is before i changed to homeopathy my physician had given me LIBRAX. I had taken librax for four day and after i changed to homeopathy I stopped librax and next day i felt palpitations.so what could this be.sir please help i am in very much trouble.

Hi,

Noted your detailed history of constipation followed by diarrhea 3-4 times a day for over one month, excessive burping, feeling food getting back into mouth and treatment for typhoid by your first Doctor. Further treatment by other Doctors including a Homeopath.
All your history is suggestive of a chronic gastrointestinal problems along with GERD.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Tests of stool for 3 consecutive days.
Tests of blood for CBC, typhoid, sugar, kidney and liver functions, thyroid and so ono as needed.
CT scan of abdomen and colonoscopy at an appropriate time.
Opinion of a Gastroenterologist.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and have proper management with a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone or Metoclopramide for GERD, antacids, specific management for diarrhea.
If a specific cause is found then it will also be treated to give permanent solution.
