What Causes Stomach Upset After Taking Oxycodone?

my son was given oxycodone for pain from an knee and back problems. He has had seizures before and is on keppra. The pain management doc gave him the pain meds todays for the fist time and he took them today. He said his stomach was upset all day and then tonight seizure. We calmed him he was out of it for about 5 to 10 minutes. He drew up a bunch of times and iis now resting in his bed.
