What Causes Stomach Upset And Difficulty In Swallowing?

I have had stomach upset beginning with a slight difficulty in swallowing. It feels like there is something stuck in my throat. Lots of stomach acid. On liquids for last 24 hours. Taking pepcid a.c. and today omeprazole. When should i be concerned if this doesn t resolve? tere

According to history it seems to be acid reflux disease ...
For which you are taking omeprazole capsule for reducing acidity ...Continue its use ....
While sleeping head elevated by putting pillow ...
Avoid excess spicy foods ...

If your condition worsen than following causes has to be ruled out like ....
-Pharynx growth
-Tongue growth
-Hiatus hernia
-thyroid problem
-acute stimatitis
-plummer Vinson syndrome etc....

For that investigation needed like physical examination , endoscopy , barium meal , USG according to need...

Advise : Surgeon or nearby physician consultation for examination....
