What Causes Stool Inconsistency And Itching Sensation In Anus?

Hello ,when I go for bowel movement it is inconsistent sometimes normal sometimes very soft, I get very itchy anus and feel the need to scratch, sometimes have to re-wipe numerous times after visiting the toilet, it has been going on for some time, ive had blood tests and stool sample and they say all normal, I also feel like my anus is swollen

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The symptoms what you are experiencing could be due to following two possibilities:
1. Pin worm infestation
2. Fissure in ano
For Pin worm infestation, you can take Tablet.Albendazole 400 mg per orally once and repeat the same in 2 weeks. In case you feet better and the symptoms subside, that should do with it.
In case the symptoms continue to persist, then you need to get examined by a Surgeon for fissure in ano. According to the examination findings, it could be decided that weather the condition could be managed by conservative treatment or needs surgical intervention.
