What Causes Strong Back And Pelvis Pain During Periods?
Hi I'm 20 my period was 5 days late I had spotting last night then I started bleeding a lot my stomach was only cramping a little I just woke up in pain with stronger cramps then usually and can barely walk I have strong back pains and my pelvis hurts like pressure should I get help or is this a period very confused
Menstrual cycles with the length of 21 to 35 days can be considered as normal. Now the possibilities are: -If there is any possibility of pregnancy, please go a urine pregnancy test once to rule out abortion. -If there is no possibility of pregnancy, sometimes delayed periods can lead to increased endometrial thickness, that can present with excessive bleeding and pain abdomen.
You can take symptomatic treatment with analgesics and can wait. If the bleeding and pain persists, better to consult your gynecologist once, get examined and go for an ultrasound. With this work-up the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
