What Causes Strong Smelling And Foamy Urine?

I have strong smelling urine that is very frothy like full of bubbles, antibiotics has no effects at least not amoxicillin. I think I m loosing my mind! I have no urgency or burning. I am 60 years old and have had lots of bladder problems since giving birth 31 years ago including TVT in 2012 for leaking. This doesn t really feel like an infection but the smell is worse than anything in my experience,!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you have a fistula. This refers to an abnormal connection in the body.
In this case there maybe a fistula between the bladder and some aspect of the GI tract.

This is called vesico- colic fistula. It would cause the air in the urine and also cause the odor.

Your doctor can refer you to a urologist who may be able to determine if this is the case.
Imaging would be needed.

I hope this helps
