What Causes Subsegmental Atelectasis In Lower Lobe?

Doc. good day! I am active in sports I do workout 4X a week and love to play basketball. My question is the result of my medical exam to work in abroad is subsegmental atelectasis left lower lobe. How did i got these problem and do we have medicine for this? When I am doing workout and play basketball I didn t feel any problem with my lungs. Is it possible? Thank you very much doc.

I really appreciate your concern, Atelectasis is distinct pulmonary condition (Collapse of lung ) due to absence of air and underlying cause of this would be matter of concern it could be due to pathology, foreign body, all of these needs differentiation and condition being treated accordingly is the hope this information helps.
