Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Despite an x ray, ultrasound, numerous urine tests, a blood test and a ct scan, my stomach continues to unexplainably grow. My breasts finally slowed down, though. I have been dealing with this since March. Exercising obsessively with no results. A stool test has also ruled out anything. Im seriously considering going on an ice diet. Please help!
The first thing you should do is to check with your OBGYN about your sexual hormone levels to see if there is any abnormality there. If you are around 40 years of age or more, then there could be a fluctuation here causing this.
If not then there are numerous other factors like medications, stress, sudden weight loss or weight gain, chronic conditions, etc; that can cause hormonal imbalances that can result on abdominal bloating, breast enlargement, menstrual irregularities, etc. Speak to an OBGYN and not other specialists.
Best wishes.
