What Causes Sudden Brown Vaginal Discharge In A Teenager?

I am 18 and not sexually active. My period ended about 9 days ago and the next cycle doesn t come until 2 weeks after. I woke up to see brown stain in my liner and the brown discharge continued throughout the day. Besides seeing brown discharge, I notice a prickly pain in the area right below my left rib around the same time I started getting the brown discharge. The pain is sort of similar to something you get when you are running. I am not sure if they are related. Besides these, I am having a regular healthy lifestyle, except that I might be sleeping late and stressing out due to academic studies.

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with brown vaginal discharge after your menses with abdominal pain I will suggest you have developed an intermenstural bleeding with abdominal cramp caused by one of the following

Stress
Ovarian cyst
Premature ovarian failure
Hormonal inbalance

In view of this please do a pelvic scan and a hormone profile test and see a gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Meanwhile please take primolut pending your appointment
