What Causes Sudden Burning Sensation In The Upper Left Leg Area?
I have been working on my feet and legs for the past month almost everyday which I am not use to. Mostly have a desk job. Had to take over the dining department of a retirement community so I m cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am having pain that one minute feels like a burning sensation and then the next minute will feel like a freezing sensation in my upper left leg. The pain goes away almost instantly if I sit down. One of the nurses here said it sounded like something was touching my artery that runs up my leg. Was wondering what your thoughts were?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to meralgia parestethica which is pressure on the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, which supplies sensation to your upper thigh.
In your case it can be related to overuse of the muscle.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
I also recommend to wear loose clothes and avoid overuse of the leg.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
