What Causes Sudden Change Skin Pigmentation From Pinkish To Red?

over the last 6 weeks my wife has had a reaction(?) in that her skin starts to turn pink then red, she feels like she has a total sunburn. this has occurred 4 times. benedryl has worked but takes up to an hour for any relief. we have not been able to come up with common cause; type of food,etc. thank you

Hi dear.... benadryl is a mild allergy medication.Since you are unable to figure out the source of the raection.
I would suggest you to apply calamine lotion over the area of the reaction.This will give a soothing effect.
You can also give her tab.allegra (fexofenadine 60mg twice a day for five days...if it doesnt subside in 5 days continue for 2 more days)
She can also apply a cortisone cream once or twice a day .... but not along with calamine lotion.
This should help her certainly
