Thank you for your query
Would you please clarify a few things?
1) has she attained menarche (onset of menstrual cycles)? Does it happens just before her cycles begin? When was her last period
2)does it hurt right after having a meal, especially a spicy one?
3) does she fall sick often? Any other health problems.? Any fever?
4)does she heart burn or breathing difficulty, giddiness?
5)did they looks for infection and check liver function when they did the blood work.?
6)is she overweight? Bulimia?
Problems related to the stomach, liver, can also cause
chest pain and sometimes
heartburn. If this is the case, avoiding caffeine, spicy and oily stuff, having cool milk (natural antacid) helps
Hepatitis (infection of the liver) can also cause upper
abdominal pain that radiated toward chest.
Panic attacks can mimic chest pain.
I recommend taking her to her
pediatrician /gastroenterologist who could look for specific causes for the pain based on their clinical findings.
In the meantime, stay calm, try to note down what makes It better or worse, when it occurs during than days and other associated symptoms.
If she has
severe pain,. Sweating, giddiness, protracted vomiting or
loss of consciousness take her to the ER right away.
Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have further queries.
Wish you both good health.
