What Causes Sudden Chest Pain Radiating Towards Back?

If I have sudden chest pain and it radiates to my back and the pain last for a couple of minutes, then my chest and back aches off and on for hours, pain in my chest wakes me up,the aches and pain last through out the day, aches when I lay down, what could this mean?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having costo-chondritis giving rise this problem.
In few cases this can be due to some cardiac ailment like coronary insufficiency as well.
So to rule out any cardiac ailment go for EKG to be on safe side.
Take some NSAID medicine for this pain.
