What Causes Sudden Confusion?

My husband who is 77 was trying to tell about the mileage of our truck. For about 5 minutes he had trouble finding his words and was confused. He kept trying to get the words out. That was the only symptom, no other stroke symptoms and he has been fine ever since. Should we seek medical attention?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Single episode of this kind of confusion is common in old age.
But if such episodes are frequent or he develops headache, vomiting, nausea, giddiness etc then immediately consult doctor.
At present, no need to worry and hence no need to go to hospital.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
