What Causes Sudden Coughing Bouts And Vomiting In A Toddler?

Thank you doctor for your mail. Well, my daughter who is just 2.2 years old was sleeping around 10 p.m. tonight and suddenly she woke and started coughing. After that she vomits almost all she had during dinner ( a home made khichri of rice, vegetables and mashed fish). Now my question is why she suddenly vomits tonight? She generally do not vomits. Apart from that; she has Running nose for that we administered Allegra 5 me at 5 p.m. on 05 Nov.

It could be simple gastroenteritis. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
