What Causes Sudden Death After Stenting And Fever?

A 45 year old man who was a non smoker, diabetic who did not take care of himself went to the hospital wiwith chest pains on June 22 and had a heart attack in hospital on June 23. The hospital did emergency surgery and put stint in. He was 100% blocked in one artery. He then followed up with cardiologist and was told there was no damage to heart and was given a clean bill of health. Few days after he had a fever after receiving his medication for 2 nights. Visiting nurse came and said everything was fine. He was tired but returning to normal activity. On July 5 he went out to BBQ dinner and came inside and told his wife he didn t feel good. He went to check his blood pressure and passed out on the floor. He foamed from the mouth. He could not be revived. He died July 5. The man does not believe in autopsy so one was not done. What was the cause of death?

Hi
He might have a major block in the left coronary artery, that too 100%, his collateral circulation still under progress.
Sudden collapse can be due to failure or non working stent, leading to another myocardial infarction, progressing to pulmonary edema.(sign of foaming from the mouth).
Most of there cases collapse dueto ventricular fibrillation,
If the myocardial damage is massive, saving life is too difficult at that time
Fever can be due to any infection, which could have been the reason to aggravate this factor also
It is really a helpless condition.
