What Causes Sudden Dizziness, Cold Body Sensation And Weakness In The Legs?

i was in a store today, dizziness, to almost darkness, cold sweating, and weakness in my legs. I held onto the counter I was standing by. I am a 65 yr old female. I felt weak for about 30 minutes. Is this a sign of a stroke or heart attack? No chest pain, no numbing, I ve never fainted

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely this was a vasovagal reflex due to standing for a while. On the other hand, due to age, it may be safer to have a check with your doctor and rule out any serious conditions with the heart or other organs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
