What Causes Sudden Dizziness, Fatigue And Headache?

Well today I woke up like any normal day but as the morning went on I started getting dizzy when I would stand, almost loose black out. Then about an hour later, my right hand started going numb and that traveled up my arm. then about 1:30, it was as if my voice was completely amplified and I was yelling very loud event ho I was not. THEN, very shortly after that, I couldn t even talk. nothing was making sense that I was trying to say, I couldn t focus. it was as if I was completely blanking. Now I have an unbelievable headache. Should this be something I should worry about?

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden dizziness, fatigue and headache . Well there can be many reasons for vertigo like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo , meniere's disease , labyrinthitis ,head injury or stroke . Condition like migraine or sinusitis can also cause such symptoms so consult neurologist for migraine and ENT specialist for sinusitis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist first for proper diagnosis . Doctor will take history , examine ear with otoscope , order CT scan , posturography and balancing tests to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe sedative , antiemetic drugs and certain device like hearing aid . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine. For now avoid bending forward , do light exercise and drink green tea thrice a day .
