What Causes Sudden Dizziness While Suffering From Diabetes?

HI,I AM 65 YEARS ,FEMALE ,YESTERDAY I WAS HAVING A FACIAL ON A FLAT BED ,WHEN SUDDENLY I FELT LIKE THE ROOM WAS SPINNING ,NAUCEOUS AND VERTIGO AND COULD NOT GET UP FOR MANY HOURS .I HAVE NOTICED THAT I NEED TO SLEEP WITH 5-6 PILLOWS UNDER MY HEAD OTHERWISE I CAN GET VERTIGO. HOWEVER I HAD VERTIGO 2 MORE TIMES IN THE LAST 15 YEARS,BUT YESTERDAY AFTER I ATE A CANDY I FELT BETTER,COULD I HAVE DIABETES AS IT RUNS IN MY FAMILY ON BOTH SIDES

Yes this could be undiagnised Diabetes.
Please confirm by your blood sugar done.

For vertigo-
For the time being you can take anti vertigo drugs but please consult an ENT specialist for the same.He might suggest some Vestibular Rehabilitation Exercise
