What Causes Sudden Ear Bleeding With Dizziness?

My step-mom suddenly started bleeding from her ear for no apparent reason. She was laying down when she noticed her pillow felt wet and looked to find blood. She says she can feel a bunch of blood behind her ear, and she is dizzy. What could have caused this to start happening?

In most of the cases a trauma causes bleeding. I would suggest you to visit an ENT Specialist at the earliest for detailed examination and followup.
