What Causes Sudden Elevation In Blood Sugar Level?
My blood sugar went up for the first time.I had to fast for a check up for 12 hrs,when I went for my appointment my surgar was 106 .My doctor told me just to keep an eye on it,just looking for a second opinion should I be concerned or is it maybe I just too many sweets?

Fasting blood sugar value of 108 is normal & you need not to be concerned about it much.
If you have diabetes, your sugar control cannot be called good based on a single fasting blood sugar value. Along with it Post prandial glucose level should also be checked. Long run of glucose control can be checked by HB1Ac test.
