What Causes Sudden Fainting And Headaches Afterwards?
My 19 year old daughter fainted while in a seated position (in college classroom). She was "out" for almost 5 minutes. Had EKG and brain scan. blood work. All normal. She cmplained of a bad headache afterwards. Shouls she see a neurologist or cardiologist?

fainting could be simple anxiety as all work up has come up clear. Get a heart perfusion studies first so seek a cardiologist. it sounds like nothing organic but more psychological. age of 19 is to oyoung to have a cause other than psychological.
