What Causes Sudden Fatigue, Weakness And Abdominal Pain In An Elderly Woman?

My 88 year old mother was eating Easter lunch, when she became very weak, overheated and had abdominal pain. She was too weak to walk out of dining room. After 3 hours of rest, she is feeling better, but tired. She has been taking macrobid for a UTI this week. What could have caused this episode?
