Hello, I have gained 10 lbs in the last 1 1/2 and I can not figure out why, I haven t changed anything with my eating/drinking habits, could I have a medical condition that is causing me to suddenly gain this weight, I feel terrible, my stomach is so bloating and my legs are so tight. Hi

Thanks for posting your query.

If there is no significant change in your eating or drinking habits and no significant reduction in physical activity then we need to consider certain medical condition for the cause of weight gain.

Among these Diabetes, Thyroid problems, problems in liver , kidney or heart can lead to weight gain.

In that view I would recommend the following tests.

Fasting and postprandial Blood sugars, Serum Tsh, Liver function test, Serum Creatinine, Ultrasound abdomen and 2D ECHO.

Kindly revert back with the test reports.

Any clarification feel free to ask.

Regards.
