Good Morning,
I'm sorry to hear about your reported symptoms, and given what you describe I would absolutely recommend a formal checkup with a physician for blood-work and lab testing to see if there are any electrolyte abnormalities, enzymes in the bloodstream released when your bodies organs and or tissues are not happy, responses to infections and or inflammatory or even cancerous conditions. Given our limited time together I'll not conclude on one likely diagnosis over another, but I'll give you possibilities based upon my experiences and what you've presented.
It is very important to ask yourself, if there is any reason to believe that you may be pregnant. The symptoms you describe (nausea, weight gain, breast tenderness) all are very typical symptoms of
pregnancy, though of course are linked with various other conditions. The
thyroid gland is a
hormonal gland involved in the body's
metabolism. When it is not working properly it can alter the homeostasis of one's body. Thyroid issues, particularly hypo-thyroid can lead to all of the symptoms you describe; and are also common in your demographic. This condition is treatable. Other causes that are less common but also possibilities include fluid retention from kidney and or cardiac disease, complications of
diabetes, and even normal vs stress induced hormonal/psychological changes that as humans we experience from time to time in our lives.
I trust and hope that these symptoms will resolve and or you will discover the source given a proper physical examination and checkup with either a
Primary Care Physician or
OBGYN. Discuss with the Physician your symptoms and I trust they will perform tests as described above to get a better idea on what is occurring. I wish you the best and hope the answer you discover is manageable and acceptable.
