General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Unless there is obstruction of the upper respiratory tract via secretions or else, most common cause of sleeplessness is disturbances in accomodation with the surrounding most likely.

A detailed physical examination with pediatrician and following guidelines of burping after feeding, postural adjustments, room temperature, light intensity are basic issues to be discussed during doc visit.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wish your toddler best health.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
