What Causes Sudden Headache And Heartburn?

Hello I am a 33 year old female (smoker) I got a sudden headache few eve ago which then lead to my pointer finer tingling moving to the next finger all the way to my pinky and up my arm, I lied down and my headache subsided - no nauseaus no vomiting no sweating I suffer from mid headaches but this was different. I saw spots for about 10 minutes and that also went away. I have had mild heavy feeling in my chest for about 2 weeks and have tried to ignore it as I just got over a bad sinus cold. it started in the left then sometimes moves to the right hurting underneath my breasts, I thought originally it was heartburn but tums and zantac have not helped. I have never had a migraine, I am thinking possible mini stroke, coming on heart attack. I know doctors are busy and hate to waste their time going to the emergency room but I just don t feel right. The tingling in my left fingers is still there and is now sometimes in my left toes as well. Advice ??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to severe gastritis. For that you can take Pantoprazole and syp Mucaine gel after physician consultation. Along with that avoid hot and spicy foods. Take light foods. Do regular exercise for 30 to 40 mins daily.

In case of not getting relief you may require upper GI endoscopy after gastroenterologist consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale
