What Causes Sudden Increase In Heart Rate With Uncontrollable Body Shake?

Hi there im asking this qustion for my friend, a 21 year old female who at random times has a sudden increase in heart rate, quite rapid i felt it. During or soon after her heart is racing she gets uncontrollable shakes and a minor headache. She hasn't seen a doctor for this, but what i've found online is possible panic attack? She said that her arm went tingly, like the feeling when a body part falls asleep, but it was only momentarily. She also vomited. Any suggestions docs?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I would like to tell you that anxiety or stress is very common cause of palpitations or racing heart but if associated with vomiting then a serious health issue. This needs evaluation.
Predominantly, symptoms are more of neurological than cardiac but considering her age a basic cardiac evaluation is also required to exclude risk of structural heart disease. Kindly get an ECG, echocardiography and a neurological consultation done for proper evaluation of the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind Regards
